Paternity fraud or the false identification of a man as the father of a child is a serious problem in the US and throughout the world.  The root of this problem is based in old English law which aimed at preventing children from being branded illegitimate and assumes that any child born during marriage is the husband’Äôs.  Under liberal interpretation, some men are assigned paternity obligations by simply being named as the father by a woman.

• Over 30% of the children in the United States are born to unwed mothers.  
• Approximately 30% of the over 300,000 paternity tests performed annually in the United States result in exclusion of the alleged individual as the biological father.
• The LA Chapter of the National Coalition of Free Men estimates that there are over 7 million children in the United Sates that are
  unknowingly calling the wrong person, Dad.
